ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of the English Language.
  • Pass a Third Class Medical Examination before flying solo.
  • Be at least 17 years old at the completion of the course and before flying solo.
A background of mathematics and physics is helpful although not mandatory.

THE COURSE INCLUDES
  • Ground School on the following theory subjects
    • Aircraft Technical
    • Aviation Law
    • Human Factors and Performance
    • Navigation
    • Meteorology
  • At least 40 hours of flying training of which 25 hours are dual instruction with one of our instructors and 15 hours are solo practice.
  • All the books and material required for the course.
TO OBTAIN THE RATING YOU NEED
  • To pass a written examination on the above mentioned subjects.
  • To pass a Flight Test with a DCA Examiner after passing the written test and completing the minimum flight hours.
DURATION:

The PPL can obtained in one month if taken full time. Most people take it part time and then it takes something like 3 months.

The price of the course depends on which aircraft you will choose to fly, i.e. 2 seater, 4 seater, aeroplane, or helicopter (if you want a helicopter license).
